Low Back Pain: General Movement Correction
Oct 14, 2023Low back pain is a major cause for missed time from work and sports. Recent studies show that as many as 15% of athletes will miss playing time due to low back pain.
Mobility from the hips, upper back, and even your ankles can significantly effect how your low back feels. If one of those area's are not moving as well as they can, whether it is from mobility or stability, your low back tends to try to help them out. Over time this puts extra stress on your low back that it is not made to be able to handle.
For some one that fits in the general movement category of low back pain, improving these areas typically helps improve the pain in your low back!
In this weeks video I discuss different exercises that may help with low back pain. Specifically for someone that may need a little more movement from the joints above and below the lower back. Check this exercise series out if you are having some low back pain and let me know if it helps!
