Between Game Tips: Morning and Evening Game
Oct 17, 2023The other week, we went over what we should be doing to prepare for the second game of a double header. The other, but similar, challenge is to be prepared and ready to play in the second game in a day when you have a few hour break.
Much of what you would do is similar to what you would do in between a double header, with a few exceptions:
- Make sure to eat your normal meals between games
- Your warm-up should include all components of your typical warm-up, as if you did not play in a game prior
- Throwing during catch play should be limited to light throwing (60-90 feet, 15-20 throws max)
In this week's video, I go over each of those touchpoints in detail. Give it a watch and reach out with any questions!
